Fifth Grade PE Week of April 27 - May 1st:
This weeks lessons are both posted on Seesaw. Please read the directions carefully and complete both activities.
Fifth Grade PE Week of April 20 - 24th:
Day 1 - Go CLASSLINK
Click on SEESAW
Click on your name on the left top corner to see the drop-down menu and and select the pe folder.
Open the assigned activity
Day 2 - Take a walk Bingo. Click on the following link and follow the directions take_a_walk_bingo.docx
Fifth Grade PE Week of April 13-April 17:
This week we will be focusing on fitness.
Day 1 - Click on the power point presentation Super Hero workout's. The directions say pick two but I want you to complete all 5 of them twice. Tap into your super hero power:) Have fun!

Day 2 - Click on the Fitnopoly link. Invite your family to play. You will need a set of dice, player markers, water and some space. Play for at least twenty minutes or until you are hot, sweaty and thirsty. Take a moment to explain to your parents what we have learned about exercising our hearts and how we know when our heart is getting stronger.

Fifth Grade PE Week of March 31-April 3:
This week we will be learning about two sports that are popular in other countries. One sport is Netball and the other is Cricket. Use this link below to watch the video about netball. On a sheet of paper write down 3 differences you notice between basketball and netball. On your second day of PE watch the video on cricket, use the link below. On the same sheet of paper write down at least three differences between baseball or softball and cricket.
On each day you have PE go outside and play a modified version of netball and cricket. Once again you will need your family to get involved:) Get creative, have fun and explain the game. You can also create a version of the game combining netball & basketball and then cricket & baseball/softball.

Fifth Grade PE Week of March 17-23:
- Use the link below to open the choice board.
- These will be your choices for both your physical education lessons.
- Complete at least two of the five choices.
- Your choices will be based on your interests and access to equipment. For example if you do not have a basketball goal then choose something else.
- There is no right or wrong, the goal is to get as active as possible, get your heart rate up and have some fun.
- Print your choice board if possible and track how much time you spent on your two activities. If you cannot print just write down your time on a piece of paper. You can always do more activities if you feel like it:)
- Your time should total 20 minutes per lesson.
- When you return to school you will turn in your choice board to me.
